Peter Parker has dedicated all his time as Spider-Man cleaning up the streets of New York and faces a mysterious threat that brings him back to people from his past. The film stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, Sadie Sink, Michael Mando, Liza Colon-Zayas, Marvin Jones III, and Tramell Tillman. 

I enjoyed Spider-Man: Brand New Day a lot. I thought it was a solid Marvel movie and one of the stronger ones during the Multiverse Saga. The cast as always does a great job. It’s been cool to see Tom Holland really grow into the role as well as Zendaya and Jacob Batalon. Sadie Sink does a great job in her role. Jon Bernthal has strong chemistry with Tom Holland. It was a lot of fun watching The Punisher and Spider-Man interact. 

Another aspect of the movie I really enjoyed was it being more grounded than prior installments. This movie does seem to be a little closer to the comics and the animated shows. Spider-Man was more of a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man this time around. Given the characters are older now, it was also nice and a little refreshing to get a more mature movie. They are adults now dealing with adult things.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is a solid Marvel movie and one of the best in recent years. It will be interesting to see where this franchise and the characters go next.
