Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu Review

Credits: Lucasfilms

Din Djarin and Grogu go on a mission to find an imperial officer. The film stars Pedro Pascal, Jeremy Allen White, Steve Blum, and Sigourney Weaver.

I enjoyed Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu. I thought it was a fun Stars War movie. It was nice to see Star Wars back on the big screen and in IMAX. I think the movie functions well as a stand alone movie. It is based on the TV show which is on Disney Plus. The film doesn’t require prior knowledge. Even for those that did not watch the show, most are aware of who Grogu is. The movie is its own thing.

The is the first Star Wars movie in seven years since the conclusion of the sequel trilogy. It’s a solid return to the big screen. It isn’t too heavy of a movie. There is a simplistic plot which works. The main attraction of the movie is seeing Din Djarin and Grogu on the big screen. Their relationship is the heart of the story. It is also the heart of the show as well.

A big question a lot of people had prior to the movie being released was if it was necessary for this to be a movie instead of having a season 4 of the show. I don’t know if it was necessary for this to be a movie, but it was a fun movie. It’s a good movie for the summer season.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu is a fun return to the big screen. It will be interesting to see what will happen for these characters in the future if The Mandalorian will continue as a show or if the characters will be featured in more films.
