There are a lot of movies coming out this year. These are the ones I am most excited for.

Deadpool 3 is the sole MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) movie to come out this year. All the other projects were delayed to 2025 due to the Writer and Actors Strikes last year. This will be the first time that Deadpool will be in the MCU. The prior films were during FOX’s run. This is expected to be a multiversal movie with Deadpool and Wolverine going on an adventure together. The movie stars Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Morena Baccarin, Karan Soni, Briana Hildebrand, Shioli Kutsuna, Leslie Uggams, Rob Delaney, Stefan Kapicic, Emma Corrin, and Matthew Macfadyen.

Wicked is based on the popular Broadway Musical. The movie was split in two with the second part coming out in 2025. Ariana Grande will be playing Glinda and Cynthia Erivo will be playing Elphaba. It is very exciting to see Ariana Grande make her film debut in a leading role. The movie stars Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Jonathan Bailey, Marissa Bode, Ethan Slater, Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Keala Settle, and Bowen Yang.
