Cisco Ramon was a huge part of The Flash from the beginning. Cisco made his debut in an episode toward the end of season 2 of Arrow alongside Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker). Cisco and Caitlyn watched over Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) while he was in a coma at S.T.A.R. Labs. When Barry woke up from his coma, he had speedster abilities. He, alongside Cisco and Caitlin became Team Flash. Cisco was mentored by Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) who eventually revealed himself to be Eobard Thawne (Matt Letscher). Eobard killed the real Harrison Wells and used Wells’ form. Wells killed Cisco toward the end of season 1 when Cisco learned that Wells was Reverse Flash. Barry went back in time prior to those events taking place. Events played differently and Cisco was spared. Cisco also started experiencing his metahuman abilities when he vibed his death from the other timeline. Team Flash was able to defeat Reverse Flash and there was confirmation that Cisco has metahuman abilities.

In season 2, Cisco bonded with Harrison “Harry” Wells from Earth-2. Cisco became the hero Vibe. Cisco met Reverb, a doppelganger and villain on Earth-2. Killer Frost and Deathstorm (Robbie Amell) were evil doppelgangers of Caitlyn Snow and Ronnie Raymond. They worked for Zoom (Teddy Sears). Cisco also had a complicated relationship with his brother Dante (Nichola Gonzales) who was deemed the favorite in Cisco’s family. Eventually Cisco and Dante were able to get to a better place in their relationship. Season 2 ended with Barry going back in time to undo the death of his mother, Nora Allen (Michelle Harrison).

In Season 3, Barry is living in an alternate timeline where he has both parents. Cisco is a tech billionaire who runs Ramone Industries. Barry creates Flashpoint while trying to set things right but there are major repercussions. In the new timeline Cisco’s brother Dante is dead. In time Cisco and Barry are able to mend their friendship. Cisco faces another hardship when Caitlin becomes Killer Frost which eventually leads to a showdown between her and Vibe.

Cisco has played a major role in most of the Arrowverse crossovers including Crisis on Infinite Earths. He also has had his fair share of relationship woes with his longest relationship being Kamilla Hwang (Victoria Park). Cisco dated Kendra Saunders (Ciara Renee) who wound up being Hawkgirl and destined to be with Carter Hall (Falk Hentschel) aka Hawkman. Cisco also dated Gypsy (Jessica Camacho) who was from Earth-19 and was a collector who came to collect H.R. Wells. She eventually broke up with Cisco and was killed off later on.

A metahuman cure was developed in season 5 and Cisco decided to take it so he could live a normal life. Cisco was still part of Team Flash and was able to assist the way he used to before he got his powers. That did not last when The Monitor (LaMonica Garrett) needed Vibe for the impending Crisis. After Crisis was over and the Multiverse was destroyed, a new timeline was born. Cisco kept track of all the changes that happened post crisis. In season 7 Cisco became Mecha-Vibe. Later that season Cisco chose to leave Central City and accept a job at A.R.G.U.S. He and Kamilla both left together. Cisco returned at the end of season 7 and officiated Barry and Iris’ (Candice Patton) wedding renewal.

Cisco has not returned since the end of season 7. It has been confirmed that Cisco will not be in the series finale. Unless it is all a ruse, the season 7 finale will be the final time audiences get to see Cisco. He has been mentioned since leaving the show. He has become Director of Technology and Science for A.R.G.U.S. It would be a nice surprise if Cisco really is in the series finale but that is a very slim chance since Carlos Valdes stated he was not able to participate. Cisco was a huge part of The Flash and a founding member of the team. Cisco has grown a lot over the seven seasons he was on and got to meet all kinds of heroes and villains. Cisco may not be in the series finale but hopefully there will be mention of him and that he has gotten a happy ending.
