In honor of The Flash ending on Wednesday May 24^th, here is a look at Allegra Garcia’s journey. MASSIVE SPOILERS.

Allegra Garcia joined The Flash in season 6. She started out as a recurring character. Allegra is a meta-human with the ability to manipulate electromagnetic energy. She was once part of the gang Ultraviolet with her cousin Esperanza Garcia (Alexa Barajas). Allegra was framed for a crime she did not commit by Esperanza. Eventually Esperanza and Allegra were able to patch things up before Esperanza died in Allegra’s arms. Allegra also developed a bond with Nash Wells (Tom Cavanagh). She found out she resembled someone from his past which is why he felt protective of her.

In Season 7, Allegra became a series regular. Allegra was an official member of Team Flash. She said goodbye to Nash Wells who sacrificed himself to save the day. She also said goodbye to her cousin Esperanza who died midway through season 7. Allegra joined The Central City Citizen, the news outlet that Iris West (Candice Patton) runs. Allegra has gotten stronger with her powers over the course of the series. Allegra and Chester (Brandon McKnight) started developing a bond over season 7 and season 8.

Allegra and Chester finally have become a couple in the current season. Allegra is a key member on Team Flash now and has helped the team with a lot of missions. It will be interesting to see where the remaining episodes take Allegra and how her journey will wrap up.
