The 65^th Grammy Awards have come and gone. So, it seems now is a good time to look to the 66^th Grammy Awards next year, 2024. Yes, it is way too early to really know what could get nominated but there are already some contenders. Taylor Swift’s current album Midnights dropped after the deadline for this years Grammys. Given the massive success of the album and the Grammys do love Taylor Swift, I think there is a good chance Taylor Swift will get nominations for her album as well as her track Anti-Hero or any of the songs from the album. Who knows what other singles will come from the album? Taylor Swift has also teased dropping more music this year so there could be a lot of options to choose from. Sam Smith just dropped their new album, Gloria. Given Unholy was able to get some nominations and it won for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, there is a good chance the album or some of the songs could get nominated. SZA could get some Grammy love as well for her album SOS as well as her single Kill Bill or any other song from the album.

Although doubtful, there is the chance Selena Gomez could get nominated for her song My Mind and Me that was for her documentary of the same name. Rihanna could get nominated for Lift Me Up that was for the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack. Selena Gomez and Rihanna are expected to drop albums this year so there is the possibility those albums could lead to nominations. Beyonce could again make Grammy history if she ends up dropping more music this year. There has already been talk and speculation of another album. P!nk is dropping her album within the next week. Luke Combs has a new album coming out. Cardi B is expected to drop her long awaited sophomore album. Depending when it drops, she could score fresh nominations. Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers have new music coming later this year. These albums could lead to some nominations.

We will just have to wait and see how the year plays out. I think there is a very good chance that we will see Grammy nominations for Taylor Swift, Sam Smith, and SZA. I can see Taylor Swift and SZA scoring a lot of nominations.
